Our origins

Our origins date back more than half a century ago with its founder, Lawyer Juan Cordova Cerna, intellectual, professional reputation in Guatemala; distinguished and recognized citizen and lawyer who fought for freedom and the rule of law in Guatemala. I struggle all his life as a citizen and professional respect and equality before the law Guatemalans and democratic rule of law.

The Lawyer Juan Cordova Cerrna had an impeccable record as a lawyer, judge, magistrate. He was Secretary of State in the Office of Government and Justice in 1944. It was one of the forerunners of the current College of Lawyers and Notaries of Guatemala, serving as Vice-President of the Board in the year of its incorporation in 1947. He promoted the Constitution of Guatemala in 1945, this being the birth of democracy in Guatemala.
